I was notified via email that my image that was accepted to be in the Toledo Area Artist exhibition has been selected to win an award.
The presentation ceremony will be July 9th at 7:30pm if anyone would like to come out and cheer for me... :)

Just something quick before bed.
It's been a long time since I posted anything here. Simply put, I got burned out on the project I was working on after it started getting a bit stagnant. (mostly due to forgetting to do anything about it til I was ready to go to bed...and rushing it)
Since I last posted, I've moved into my own (two bedroom) apartment. Submitted three photos to the annual Toledo Area Artist exhibit at the Toledo Museum of Art and my photo of the Ramune bottles was accepted to be in the show. (see attached photo) The show opens July 9th if anyone wants to go check it out. You shouldn't be able to miss my photo...that's why I had it printed at 24x30 instead of a boring 8x10... :)
I leave saturday for some business in L.A. So if anyone needs me, you'll have to call or text...as I may not always have email. :)
Well, it's past my bedtime...

A day off
I have decided to skip today and provide an image I created monday on the way home from seeing Neil Gaiman.
I feel I need to limit how much I force myself to maintain this project to avoid producing poor quality work for the sake of producing an image every day.
(plus, it's late, and I just want to go to bed) :)

A brief reminder
Hello, I just thought I'd post a link to the post that explains what I'm attempting to do with this blog. That way in case anyone is just discovering it, they have a bit of the background info.
In the beginning, there was an idea!

Another fun day.
Years ago I started working on assembling a model kit. I chose to paint many of the white parts black for a bit of customization....needless to say, it was never finished. The parts are still hanging where I put them to dry...
